Svmuu News Over the past two weeks, the number of vessels transiting through the "blockaded" Strait of Hormuz has been steadily increasing. A growing number of vessels from friendly nations are navigating the strait. According to Bloomberg, as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz gradually recovered over the past week, the seven-day rolling average transit volume as of Friday has reached its highest level since the outbreak of the war.
An increasing number of vessels are crossing the strait, including some with no clear affiliation to Iran. Countries are negotiating with Tehran to secure passage for their ships. Among the vessels transiting in the past day, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers were predominant, including one bound for India and others with ties to Iran.
According to Bloomberg's calculations, a total of 13 vessels have transited since Friday morning. Based on vessel-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, 10 of these sailed out of the Persian Gulf, while 3 entered from the open sea.
