Iran Claims US Threats to Strike Iranian Infrastructure Constitute "War Crimes"
Svmuu News: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei condemned US threats against Iranian infrastructure as "war crimes" and warned that any country assisting Washington would bear legal responsibility. He stated, "There is no doubt that merely issuing such threats is itself a war crime," noting that the US, on one hand, talks about striking "energy and industrial infrastructure," while on the other hand, gives Israel a "green light to attack civilian targets." He emphasized that these actions constitute war crimes under international humanitarian law and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. "All countries should understand that any cooperation or assistance provided to the United States in the execution of its crimes must be held accountable and should be recognized as war crimes and crimes against humanity."
