Svmuu News The United Arab Emirates has accused Iran of launching missile and drone attacks blatantly after announcing a two-week ceasefire. The UAE Ministry of Defense posted on social media: "Since the ceasefire took effect, Iran has blatantly launched attacks, firing a total of 17 ballistic missiles and 35 drones, which have been successfully countered by the air defense system." The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense also accused Iran of continuing attacks against it after the ceasefire, stating that the attack on Wednesday morning "clearly demonstrates its continued targeting of the country's security and critical infrastructure." It is currently unclear whether the reports of Iran's ongoing attacks are in response to Israeli strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon or an attempt to continue demonstrating its threat to the region. Since the ceasefire, several other attacks have occurred in the region, including an assault on a crucial east-west oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia that transports crude oil from the Gulf to the Red Sea for export.
