ClearBank Obtains Dutch CASP License and MiCA Approval, Plans to Support EURC and USDC Stablecoin Services
Svmuu News: Dutch bank ClearBank announced that it has received approval under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and obtained a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license issued by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). The bank will launch digital asset services including stablecoins and stated that it subsequently plans to support euro and dollar-based stablecoins (EURC and USDC) to enhance the efficiency of cross-border transfers and payments. Additionally, ClearBank stated that it will provide savings account services through Coinbase and will be covered under the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). (Crowdfundinsider)
