Svmuu News: According to Arkham data and a report published by The Information on Friday evening, SpaceX currently holds 8,285 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $603 million, in a Coinbase Prime custody account. This comes as the company faces a nearly $5 billion loss in 2025.

This loss marks a significant shift from the previous year, when SpaceX achieved approximately $8 billion in profit in 2024, with estimated revenue between $15 billion and $16 billion. Although revenue increased to $18.5 billion in 2025, the integration costs resulting from the merger of Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI into SpaceX in February of this year exceeded the revenue growth.

Despite the substantial loss, SpaceX's Bitcoin holdings have not changed. CoinDesk's analysis of transfer records shows that the most recent significant movement of funds occurred approximately four months ago, involving only rebalancing operations of 614 and 1,021 Bitcoin between SpaceX's internal wallets. The size of the holdings has remained stable since mid-2024, after the market value of the holdings briefly exceeded $1.6 billion in October 2025, when Bitcoin reached an all-time high.

SpaceX is currently the fourth-largest known corporate holder of Bitcoin globally, trailing Strategy, Marathon Digital, and Riot Platforms. SpaceX has filed for an IPO, at which point its Bitcoin holdings will appear in public filings for the first time and may be subject to fair value accounting under new FASB standards effective at the end of 2025.
