Svmuu reported that KelpDAO stated on the X platform that, according to the restart plan coordinated with Aave, the first batch of rsETH has been transferred from Aave to the LayerZero OFT adapter. The rsETH cross-chain bridging function is now restored, allowing users to freely transfer rsETH between the Ethereum mainnet and L2s.
KelpDAO stated that the rsETH contract will be unpaused within 24 hours and withdrawal functionality will be restored. Deposits are expected to reopen within approximately 48 hours, with the exchange rate updated simultaneously. Staking rewards accrued during the pause period will be distributed cumulatively to all rsETH holders.
Additionally, the remaining batches of rsETH will be transferred by the Aave Recovery Guardian and Kelp over the next two weeks to complete the replenishment of the lockbox contract.
