Svmuu: U.S. Central Command has announced that U.S. forces completed a self-defense strike against Iran on June 9, in response to the downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter the previous day.
U.S. forces used precision munitions from Air Force and Navy fighters to strike Iranian air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. This operation was a proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces and international merchant vessels transiting the waters of the region. U.S. forces remain vigilant and are prepared to defend against any unprovoked aggression from Iran. (Jinshi)
