India on Monday approved 2.12 trillion rupees (approximately $22 billion) in military spending to procure modern defense equipment, including long-range kamikaze drones, reconnaissance and strike systems, counter-drone technology, short-range air defense, artillery, helicopters, and naval platforms. This move aims to address border tensions with China and narrow the military technology gap with Beijing.
