Reality's stock token assets exceed $50 million
Svmuu News: Reality, Bitget’s compliant RWA issuance platform, announced today that the assets under management (AUM) for its rToken series of equity tokens have surpassed $50 million. Reality officially launched in May of this year. rTokens, identified by the letter “r” followed by a stock ticker symbol (e.g., “NVIDIA” for rNVDA), connect directly to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange through a partnership with the compliant brokerage firm Alpaca.Key features include: 1:1 reserves of underlying assets held by a licensed custodian; stock dividends distributed 1:1 in token form; and real-time mapping of corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits. Additionally, rToken holdings can now be used as cross-margin for Bitget’s Unified Account and U-denominated futures contracts, significantly improving capital utilization across asset classes. To date, Bitget has listed over 500 stock tokens issued by Reality, and select core assets—such as SpaceX and NVIDIA—now support weekend trading, enabling 24/7 spot liquidity.
