U.S. Government Ban Appears to Be Ineffective; Early Users of Anthropic Mythos Still Have Access
Svmuu News: Anthropic is still allowing a select group of early-access companies to continue accessing the preview version of its AI model “Mythos,” despite a U.S. government ban that had previously required the company to shut it down completely. According to sources familiar with the matter, several organizations—including banks and technology companies—are using Mythos Preview through a testing program called “Project Glasswing.” The project consists of approximately 200 authorized organizations and is primarily used to detect and research cybersecurity vulnerabilities using AI systems. Security firm Dragos stated that the system remains accessible, and Cisco also confirmed that it still has access. (Bloomberg)
