Prosecutors said the two held a family hostage for eight hours and forced the homeowner to log into their cryptocurrency accounts to make transfers. The two have pleaded guilty in federal court in Minneapolis to the charge of “robbery with interference with business operations,” Each faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and must pay restitution of more than $8 million.
