At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.5%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.48%, and the ChiNext Index rose 2.99%. The ChiNext Index has risen 35.58% year-to-date, hitting a record high, while the Shenzhen Composite Index has gained 19.82% and the Shanghai Composite Index has risen 3.16%. Among individual stocks, technology-related shares performed exceptionally well. Lianxun Instruments became the new “King of A-Shares,” closing at 2,322.33 yuan—a gain of over 2,700% in the three months since its listing. Yuanjie Technology has risen 326.02% year-to-date.
