Svmuu News: The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration has issued the “Several Policy Measures on Promoting the Rule of Law and Standardization in the E-cigarette Industry (Trial).” The document states that, based on the current state of the e-cigarette industry and in alignment with national regional development strategies, efforts will be made to guide the moderate concentration of the e-cigarette industry in regions with a solid industrial foundation and suitable conditions, strengthen control over raw material supply channels, and reasonably ensure the supply of raw materials for e-cigarette production.
The industry structure will be adjusted and optimized; new production capacity will be strictly controlled; production capacity will be reasonably managed to prevent overcapacity. Guided by the principles of optimizing resource allocation and meeting market demand, the industry’s concentration will be maintained at a reasonable level, and enterprises unable to adapt to market competition will be guided toward an orderly exit.
