Svmuu News: Du Jun, co-founder of ABCDE Capital, posted on X to provide further details on the investment, stating that the first tranche of $500,000 was paid to Metagent—founded by Li Bojie—in February 2024, and that the decision to disburse the subsequent $1 million investment would depend on the project’s progress and the terms outlined in the agreement. Du Jun noted that the demo presented by the Metagent team in June 2024 fell short of expectations. Taking into account the project’s progress, communication, and feedback from other investment firms, he expressed concerns about the team’s ability to execute the project. He also noted that starting in July 2024, Li Bojie essentially stopped responding to investors’ communications. In December of the same year, Li indicated via email that he had left Metagent and that the company was short on funds; however, the team never provided investors with complete financial statements or operational information.
