The BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 37.09, up 0.22% for the day. The EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 51, up 2.62% for the day.
In the foreign exchange market, the U.S. dollar against the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) rose 0.11% intraday, with the current exchange rate at 6.7804. The U.S. dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) rose 0.04% intraday, with the current exchange rate at 162.432.
In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (EUSTX50) fell 0.21% intraday to 6,199.04 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) fell 0.2% on the day to 10,535 points; and the German DAX 40 Index (GER40) fell 0.31% on the day to 24,715.6 points.
In the commodities market, WTI crude oil rose 2.69% intraday to $81.79 per barrel. Brent crude oil rose 1.95% intraday to $86.63 per barrel.
