U.S. Central Command: Strikes Against Iran Completed for the Eighth Consecutive Night
Svmuu News: U.S. Central Command stated that, under the Commander-in-Chief’s orders, it completed another round of strikes against Iran at 11:30 p.m. on July 18 (Eastern Time). In the eighth consecutive night of airstrikes, CENTCOM forces successfully targeted Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iran’s military capabilities. U.S. forces also targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which had previously launched an attack against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17. Currently, more than 50,000 U.S. service members—both men and women—are deployed in the Middle East, where they remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready for action at a moment’s notice.
