Data shows that 57% of profitable wallets were created within 24 hours prior to trading, and some associated wallets profited approximately $1.6 million by betting on events related to U.S. military operations. In addition, a significant portion of funds linked to suspected insider trading were deposited through U.S.-regulated crypto exchanges; approximately 71% of traceable funds in Iran-related markets originated from U.S.-regulated crypto exchanges.
Polymarket stated that the platform has strengthened its monitoring mechanisms and has submitted nearly 100 suspicious wallet addresses to law enforcement agencies. (Bloomberg)
