According to Svmuu News, Strategy’s Bitcoin reserves, as calculated by management, are sufficient to cover 31 years of dividends, while its U.S. dollar reserves are sufficient to cover 1.8 years of recent dividend obligations. Chaitanya Jain, Head of Strategy’s Bitcoin products and investor relations, disclosed the above data on X on July 20.
According to Strategy’s filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), its U.S. dollar reserves stood at $3.225 billion as of July 19. The company stated that these reserves are used to pay dividends on preferred stock and interest on outstanding debt.
Strategy currently holds 843,775 BTC, with a total acquisition cost of approximately $63.69 billion and an average purchase price of $75,476.Between July 13 and 19, the company sold 2.73 million shares of MSTR stock, raising approximately $264 million net.
The filing shows that Strategy did not issue any preferred shares, conduct any stock repurchases, or purchase any “Bitcoin” that week. Its most recent disclosed purchase of “Bitcoin” occurred on June 22.
