Yields on 10-year and 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds hit two-month highs as rising oil prices fuel inflation concerns
Svmuu News: The U.S. Treasury market fell, with yields on 10-year and 30-year Treasuries rising to their highest levels in about two months. Surging crude oil prices fueled market concerns that inflationary pressures could prompt the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. On Tuesday, yields on U.S. Treasuries across all maturities rose broadly by 2 to 4 basis points, with the 10-year yield briefly climbing to 4.64%, its highest level since late May. As the U.S. and Iran exchanged strikes for the 10th consecutive day, the dollar strengthened against most major currencies.
