SpaceX is set to release its first quarterly earnings report since going public on August 4 after the U.S. market closes. Data shows that short positions in SpaceX have been increasing steadily recently. Last week, approximately 185 million shares were shorted, representing about 29% of the outstanding shares; about a month ago, estimated short positions stood at approximately 40 million shares, accounting for about 5% to 7%.
