Svmuu News: Industry sources have revealed that Samsung Electronics plans to build a new HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) manufacturing plant at its Gwangju campus in South Korea, with the aim of accelerating the expansion of its business-to-business central air conditioning operations.
According to reports, Samsung recently submitted an application to local authorities for a construction permit for the new facility at the Gwangju campus. The project, with an estimated investment of approximately 200 billion won, is intended to boost production capacity for HVAC systems, including cooling equipment for AI data centers. (Cailian Press)
