Hyperliquid's weekly RWA trading volume surpasses that of crypto trading, with HIP-3 RWA trading volume reaching $26 billion
Svmuu News: Lorenzo Valente, Head of Research at ARK Invest, posted on X that DeFi is entering a new era, with Hyperliquid seeing RWA trading volume surpass crypto trading for the first time in a single week, with RWA accounting for 54% of total trading volume. Since June, trading volume for individual stocks on HIP-3 has surpassed that of indices and commodities; individual stocks currently account for 61% of total RWA trading volume. Last week, total DEX perpetual contract trading volume reached $79 billion, with Hyperliquid accounting for $50 billion—of which $26 billion came from HIP-3 RWA trading. Hyperliquid’s RWA market size has now surpassed the combined crypto perpetual contract trading volume of all other DEXs.
