Agreement on Large-Scale HBM4 Supply Nears Completion; AMD to Finalize Deal with Samsung Electronics
Svmuu News: Citrini analyst Jukan posted on X that AMD is close to signing a final agreement with Samsung Electronics for the large-scale supply of HBM4. AMD CEO Lisa Su said during the “AMD Advancing AI 2026” event held in San Francisco on June 23 that the two companies had “almost reached an agreement.” AMD has announced that its “Helios” AI server rack has entered mass production, with shipments scheduled to begin in late third quarter. Han Jin-man, President of Samsung Electronics’ Foundry Business, and Cho Sang-yeon, Head of DSA, attended Lisa Su’s keynote speech and continued negotiations with AMD executives regarding the full-scale launch of HBM4 supply.
