Saudi Media: Iran Says It Is Willing to Continue Negotiations with the U.S.
Svmuu News: According to reports from Al-Arabiya TV and the Saudi media outlet Hadath, Iran has informed Pakistani officials that it has not withdrawn from the negotiations but has temporarily suspended them. Iran reiterated the need to resume negotiations once the current impasse is resolved and stated its refusal to open a new shipping lane in the Strait of Hormuz. In addition, Iran has confirmed to Pakistan its willingness to continue negotiations (with the United States) in Geneva, Qatar, or Islamabad; it has also requested that talks resume on the Strait of Hormuz issue, followed by the issue of frozen funds, and finally the nuclear issue.
