Boeing Reports Mixed Q2 Results, Missing EPS but Beating Revenue as Free Cash Flow Turns Positive
Boeing (BA) released its second-quarter earnings, reporting an adjusted loss per share of $0.76, missing the estimated -$0.30. However, the company's revenue reached $24.56 billion, surpassing the $24.25 billion estimate. Boeing also reported positive free cash flow of $631 million and a backlog of $715 billion. Operationally, 737 production is transitioning to 47 aircraft per month. The first delivery of the 777X is still expected in 2027, with 737-7/10 certification anticipated in 2026 and first deliveries in 2027. The quarter included a $280 million loss related to the Air Force One replacement program.
