Austral Resources Australia has announced the termination of its obligations under the Anthill Project Agreement (APA) with Glencore and Secover. The settlement, valued at A$51.98 million ($36.36 million), is expected to be finalized by the end of July 2026, with payment made partly in cash (A$37.6 million) and partly in shares (A$14.38 million).

The company stated that the termination will allow it to utilize its own copper stock and increase production at its Mt Kelly processing plant, leveraging ongoing mining campaigns. Austral Resources described the extinguishment of the APA as earnings and cash flow accretive, aligning with its strategy to improve operational flexibility and transparency.
