The U.S. House of Representatives has narrowly passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the 2027 fiscal year. The bill includes $750 million in funding for Israel-related military programs, an increase of $65 million from the previous year. Of this, $500 million is earmarked for missile defense programs, such as Israel's Iron Dome, with the remaining $250 million allocated for counter-unmanned systems, subterranean operations, and emerging defense technologies. The legislation now moves to the Senate, where its future remains uncertain after Senate Democrats previously blocked their version of the bill.
