Intelligent Audit Wins FreightWaves Supply Chain AI Excellence Award for Its AI-Powered Early Warning System That Identifies Freight Fraud and Errors
Freight audit firm Intelligent Audit has won the “AI Solution Provider” category at the FreightWaves Supply Chain AI Excellence Awards for its proprietary machine learning system, DeepDetectAI. The DeepDetectAI system is designed to identify and flag hidden freight errors and fraudulent activities by analyzing millions of shipping transaction records. By establishing a baseline for normal shipping activity, the system continuously monitors deviations from that baseline—such as cost variances, unusual service usage, and duplicate or fraudulent charges—enabling companies to intervene before potential financial losses occur. Intelligent Audit notes that many small discrepancies, if not detected in a timely manner, can accumulate into losses amounting to hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. For example, the system once helped a global eyewear giant identify and prevent an organized fraud scheme worth over $1 million.
