Robinhood's U.K. arm was added to the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) list of registered cryptoasset companies as of July 31. This registration signifies compliance with the regulator's anti-money laundering (AML) requirements under the existing regime, which has been in effect since 2020. The move comes before a more comprehensive crypto regulatory framework is set to launch in the UK, with the authorization process opening at the end of September.
