DeItaone reports: U.S. FCC to restrict imports of foreign-made advanced robots; Morgan Stanley sees limited near-term impact on Chinese humanoid robot makers
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will restrict imports of certain foreign-made advanced robots, including humanoids, quadrupeds, and some autonomous devices. Morgan Stanley expects a limited near-term impact on Chinese humanoid robot makers, as existing FCC-approved products remain exempt and U.S. sales are minimal. However, new product restrictions could weigh on Chinese robot vacuum and autonomous mobile robot makers with larger U.S. exposure.
