Snap stock jumps 10% in extended trading after Q2 earnings beat estimates and Q3 sales forecast topped expectations
Snap reported better-than-expected revenue and earnings for the second quarter, with adjusted earnings reaching $250 million against an estimated $192 million. The company also issued a strong forecast for the third quarter, projecting sales between $1.7 billion and $1.74 billion, exceeding analyst estimates of $1.7 billion. CEO Evan Spiegel noted improving momentum in the advertising business, particularly with large advertisers in North America and stronger international revenue growth.
