Digital Currency Group (DCG)'s Zcash mining subsidiary, Fortitude Mining Holdings, has completed a cash acquisition of a 12.5 MW mining facility in Prosser, Nebraska, with a net expenditure of approximately $4.7 million (after deducting a $985,000 hosting deposit credit and a $465,500 miner sale credit). This acquisition expands Fortitude's owned power portfolio to seven sites across South Dakota, Nebraska, Texas, and New York, with a total installed capacity exceeding 60 MW. Andrea Childs, CEO of the company, stated that this acquisition is a significant step in expanding its owned operational portfolio. Fortitude plans to go public through a merger with HeartSciences, expected to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol TUDE.
