A volunteer team conducted security audits on 390 Bitcoin projects in just over a day. Anonymous developer Calle stated that 16 developers submitted a total of 4,962 findings, including 85 critical vulnerabilities and 635 high-severity issues. These findings were the result of developers using AI models to audit wallets, cryptographic libraries, and infrastructure, with the team averaging one critical vulnerability discovery per person per hour, at an estimated cost of about $10,000 per day. Calle noted that most critical reports have been quickly verified by project owners.
