Nokia launches industry's first commercial AI-RAN platform in partnership with Nvidia and Dell
Nokia has launched the industry's first commercial AI-powered Radio Access Network (AI-RAN) platform. The new system is designed to handle increased mobile data traffic driven by artificial intelligence and pave the way for future 6G technology. The platform utilizes Nvidia's Aerial RAN Computer Pro (ARC-Pro) and Dell's PowerEdge servers. According to Nokia, the AI-RAN platform currently offers 20% higher spectral efficiency compared to existing systems.
