Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh stated that Kyiv has "learned the hard way" that military strength is an essential precursor to diplomacy, describing deep strikes into Russian territory as a core tenet of the country's pressure campaign. The company, which facilitates over 60% of Ukraine's long-range drone operations, has grown from three founders to over 7,000 employees since 2022, when it produced around 200 drones. Terekh added that it "looks realistic" to expect the team to produce more than 100,000 drones by year-end. However, a hold-up in European funding has prevented the company from maximizing production of its FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile, and Terekh criticized European bureaucracy as a significant impediment to their efforts.
