B2Gold announced its second-quarter results, with an adjusted net profit of $41 million, or $0.03 per share, and a negative free cash flow of $258 million. The company narrowed its full-year gold production guidance for 2026 to 820,000-920,000 ounces. Additionally, the Malian government has granted B2Gold the Menankoto mining permit, allowing it to commence pre-stripping operations in the Fekola complex, a project expected to produce over 150,000 ounces of gold annually starting in 2028. The company also returned $224 million to shareholders in the first half of the year through share buybacks and dividends.
