Trump says his relationship with Netanyahu is "very good" despite Israeli PM's rejection of US-led Gaza peace plan
US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that his relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains "very good," even after Netanyahu explicitly rejected a US-led 15-point peace plan for Gaza. Netanyahu had formally asserted his refusal on Sunday, opposing the plan which called for Israel to begin pulling back forces in tandem with disarmament by Hamas. Netanyahu vowed that the Israeli army would not withdraw until Hamas is disarmed and that "no Palestinian state will arise as long as I am prime minister."
