Robinhood now has 13 business lines generating over $100 million in annualized revenue, diversifying beyond crypto trading despite a 38% drop in crypto volume in Q2.
The company's second-quarter earnings showed revenue grew 32% year-over-year to a record $1.3 billion, with earnings up 48%. While crypto trading volume fell to $100 million, transaction-based revenue still rose 44%, driven by equities, options, and event contracts. Other revenues increased 54% to $143 million, boosted by Trump Account service revenue and a record 4.84 million Robinhood Gold subscribers. The addition of the Robinhood Legend trading application and credit card business contributed to the expansion, reducing the platform's dependency on crypto.
