U.S. government bond yields are expected to fall over the coming year, a Reuters poll showed. The poll predicted the 10-year government bond yield would be 4.50% in three months, 4.50% in six months, and 4.34% in 12 months. The 2-year government bond yield was predicted to be 4.07% in three months, 3.92% in six months, and 3.80% in 12 months. However, 18 of 22 bond strategists said the 10-year government bond yield was more likely to exceed rather than fall below expectations in the next three months.
