Dune Oil Corp launches new seismic program at Türkiye's Gabar Block, targeting further drilling and 51.6M barrels unrisked resource
Dune Oil Corp has initiated a tender for a 40-kilometre 2D seismic program at its Gabar Block in southeastern Türkiye. This program is a precursor to further drilling, which is expected to be finalized by September 2026. The company aims to improve its understanding of fault-related structures and identify additional drilling targets. The Gabar Block's North Prospect holds a 2C contingent resource of 27.6 million barrels, with an unrisked NPV-10 of US$733.5 million. Across all three prospects, Dune Oil estimates a total unrisked resource potential of 51.6 million barrels net to the company.
