U.S. Energy Secretary: Oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz has recovered to nearly 9 million barrels per day, with total regional flow reaching 15 million barrels.
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated that oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz is recovering, with nearly 9 million barrels of oil passing through the strait daily. He noted that the total oil flow in the region, including pipeline transportation, has reached approximately 15 million barrels per day, suggesting that supply pressures caused by the Iran war may be easing. Nevertheless, U.S. crude oil prices remain high at around $83 per barrel, while strategic petroleum reserves have fallen below 300 million barrels.
