Bank of Japan (BOJ) to raise policy rate to 0.75% in fiscal year 2025
The Bank of Japan (BOJ) today released its Market Operations Report for fiscal year 2025, stating that the bank will use short-term interest rates as its primary policy tool in fiscal year 2025, guiding the uncollateralized overnight call rate to increase from 0.5% to around 0.75% at the December 2025 Monetary Policy Meeting.
