According to Yahoo Finance analysis, if $10,000 were invested in Bitcoin, XRP, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) tokens respectively on January 1, 2026, by August 12, the HYPE investment would have grown to $22,821, representing a 128% return. During the same period, the Bitcoin investment would have shrunk by 28% to $7,219, and XRP would have fallen by 45.8% to $5,425. HYPE's growth is attributed to the HIP-3 upgrade, record trading volumes, and a fee-funded token buyback mechanism.
