Miden, a zero-knowledge blockchain, plans to introduce USDCx, a stablecoin backed 1:1 by Circle's USDC, at the same time as its mainnet debut, targeted for the end of this month. USDCx will enable users to hold and transfer funds without publicly revealing balances, counterparties, or transaction histories. The system is designed to provide privacy by default while allowing selective disclosure of information to auditors, regulators, and counterparties when required, addressing a key limitation for institutional finance on public blockchains.
