Decentralized exchange Hyperliquid is seeking to enter the U.S. perpetual futures market by working with the U U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Hyperliquid's policy team is pushing for regulatory rules to bring on-chain derivatives into a regulated domestic framework. The company currently does not offer its trading platform to U.S. users. Jake Chervinsky, CEO of Hyperliquid Policy Center, stated that the goal is to have regulators issue favorable interpretations of existing rules, or create new rules, that would allow regulated companies to offer perpetual futures using markets built on Hyperliquid.
