Bank of Japan: JGB fails decreased to 309 cases in July, with total face value of 19.73 billion yen
The Bank of Japan's latest data for July 2026 shows that the number of Japanese Government Bond (JGB) fails decreased to 309 cases, down from 403 cases in June. The total face value of these fails also fell to 19.73 billion yen (approximately $135 million USD) from 22.84 billion yen in June. The average duration of fails remained stable at 1.19 business days.
