Kraken parent company Payward reported its second-quarter adjusted revenue increased 17% year-over-year to $508 million, while remaining adjusted EBITDA positive at $23 million. The company's funded accounts grew 42% to 6.6 million, and assets on its platform reached $40 billion. This growth occurred despite a 13% decline in total platform transaction volume to $310 billion, with a shift in mix towards equities and tokenized equities. Payward also gained spot market share for a third consecutive quarter and saw asset-based and other revenue climb to 60% of total revenue.
