Polen Capital Management Llc disclosed in its Q2 2026 investor letter that the Polen Focus Growth fund initiated a new position in GE Vernova (GEV) during the new quarter. The fund believes that GE Vernova is one of the few global companies capable of providing the power generation equipment needed to meet the growing demand for electricity, driven primarily by data center growth, AI infrastructure, electrification, and grid modernization. Although the fund's Q2 return was 6.33%, significantly underperforming the Russell 1000 Growth Index's 16.74%, Polen Capital has repositioned its portfolio to benefit from structural growth in AI infrastructure, power demand, and aerospace.
