Ron Baron, founder of Baron Capital, told investors that Elon Musk's rocket and satellite company, SpaceX, could be valued at $20 trillion to $40 trillion within the next 10 to 15 years. Baron Capital currently holds approximately $25 billion in SpaceX shares, accounting for over one-third of its $70 billion in assets. Baron believes that SpaceX's value will primarily come from its Starlink satellite internet network and its space artificial intelligence business, with Starlink's annual revenue projected to reach $1 trillion within a decade, making this segment alone worth $14 trillion. Previously, SpaceX announced second-quarter revenue of $7.81 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $6.93 billion.
