FedEx to close 5 facilities in Missouri and California, affecting 316 workers, as part of Network 2.0 overhaul
The closures, scheduled for late August and late September, are part of FedEx's multiyear Network 2.0 strategy to combine its Express and Ground operations. This initiative aims to eliminate overlapping facilities and routes to create a more efficient delivery network, with the company expecting to generate an additional $2 billion in savings by the end of fiscal 2027.
